A raised eyebrow is often enough.
Aileen rarely needs a grand gesture. Onstage, a raised eyebrow, a dry aside, or one precisely placed keyboard line can carry the point.
Her sisters tease her far too freely to treat her as a substitute parent, and Aileen usually answers with one well-timed line. She expects Mary, Gael, and Ryanne to handle themselves. If someone deliberately hurts one of them, the joking stops and her attention sharpens.
