Composed, not cautious.
Aileen's calm is deliberate: she chooses how much energy to release and when. Onstage, a raised eyebrow, a dry aside, or a precisely placed keyboard line can carry more weight than a grand gesture.
Being the oldest does not make her the band's designated parent. Mary, Gael, and Ryanne are entirely capable of handling themselves, and Aileen trusts them to do it. They can also tease her mercilessly; she is much more likely to answer with one perfectly timed line than to take offense.

Precision, with an edge.
At the keyboards, Aileen adds texture and weight without crowding the rest of the band. She listens across the stage, supports the shifting lead, and adds one of the four voices at the center of Sisters Erie's sound.
Her sisters can fight their own battles. Deliberately hurt one of them, however, and Aileen's calm becomes something considerably more focused.

An open road and a perfect pop hook.
Aileen rides for the adrenaline and to burn off frustration—the appeal is speed chosen on purpose, not recklessness for its own sake.
Her musical taste is equally unapologetic. She can care deeply about traditional songs, intricate arrangements, and close harmony while sincerely loving '90s pop. If anyone thinks those tastes conflict, Aileen is comfortable letting them be wrong.
